Frequently asked questions
Where does the data come from?
From a sports data provider, queried once every 30 seconds. The same reading is served to everyone, so the panel shows all users the same numbers.
How much delay is there?
Between the moment on the pitch and your screen there is the time the provider takes to record it plus our 30-second cycle. In practice, somewhere between a few seconds and a minute. StatGol is not a live broadcast and is no substitute for watching the match.
Why do some matches show a dash instead of a number?
Because the provider does not cover that statistic for that league. We would rather show a dash than a zero that would look like real data. When the source sends a zero for a league it does not cover, the panel turns that into a dash too.
Does the panel give betting tips?
No. It shows statistics and market odds for matches in progress. We do not give tips, we do not calculate "value" and we promise no outcome.
Does the trial ask for a card?
No. You get 7 days of Pro when you create the account. When they end, the account moves to the free plan on its own, with nothing charged.
How do I pay?
From the plans page, in a few clicks. The accepted methods appear at checkout and vary by country and currency. Pro is switched on the moment the payment clears, and the subscription renews on its own until you cancel, which you do from the My account page.
On how many devices can I use it?
Two at the same time. Signing in on a third one signs out the oldest.
The panel stopped updating. What now?
The top of the screen warns you when the source is unstable or the data is stale. The status page shows how the service is doing.
Every column on the panel has its own entry in what each column measures: what the number measures, how it is calculated and — above all — what it does not mean.
